The Walt Disney Company’s struggling ESPN brand has suspended it’s controversial SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill. Hill was suspended for violating the company’s “social media policy” for a second time in as many weeks.

Hill’s first offense came when she called U.S. president Donald J. Trump a “White supremacist” on Twitter. For her first misstep, Hill received a mere slap on the wrist from the Disney Corporation CEO Bob Iger and ESPN.

The offense which got Hill suspended occurred when she took to Twitter and suggested people boycott advertisers associated with Jerry Jones and his Dallas Cowboys. Many of the Dallas Cowboys advertisers are also advertisers with ESPN. The two-week suspension will no doubt stir up controversy.

My question is, what is the most productive way to respond to the two week suspension of Jemele Hill?
