1. The first step to becoming a secret shopper is to click here to fill out the online application. NOTE: The application is for information purposes. Secret Shoppers are not employees of TSA Hopsitality, Marc Hayes and Associates or any of our affiliates. Secret Shoppers are independent contractors and are responsible for the taxes on income earned. All income earn will be summerized and sent to the independent contractor at the end of the tax year (1099).

 

  1. Once reviewed and accepted the applicant will be contacted by a member of our team to set up an in-person and/or a telephone interview. We are based in the Baltimore – Washington, D.C., but we service the continental USA and parts of Canada.

3. Once you have completed the interview process you will be contacted with a decision. If we move forward you will be contacted regarding your first shop.

 

How A Shop Works

Each of our clients has a customized shop form that must completed by the shopper immediately after the visit. This form should be analyzed before the shop in order to grasp what specifics our clients are looking to pay close attention.

The Shopper (you) must initially pay for all item purchaed during the shop. The shopper will then be reimbursed for the items purchased along with compensation for the shop (if applicable). Reimbursment usually takes 36 to 48 hours, however we are often able to make payments earlier.
